Nadia Bacon: Pre-Cinco Party

I'm writing this specific blog entry to draw attention to the fact that last Friday night at what can only be described as a "pre-cinco" party, I was duped! BIG TIME! Look lady, I don't know who you think you are, BUT if you somehow end up reading my blog, and more specifically this entry, you had better FESS 'EM UPS!

Events of the night. In the order that I remember them.

10:20 pm - Jeremy and I show up at said party. I comment on the landscaping. Something exactly like "I really like landscaping." Also, I'm hungry (as per usual).
10:22 pm - Jeremy says hello to fellow party guests as I make my way over to the snack table and play it cool.
10:23 pm - I enjoy some cookies and then decide to see what watermelon (4? slices) tastes like.
10:24 pm - I notice a fellow party guest dipping tortilla chips into a raw cut avacado or a "lazy guacamole" or "not guacamole" or whatever you want to call it.
10:24 pm - Because it's a charming idea and a fun new way to eat chips and also maybe because I'm CRZY-4-AVOS!, I follow suit.
10:25 pm - A woman comes up to me around my second or third dip and says

WOMAN - "Actually, there are some tostadas over there."
ME - "Tremendous!" and in my head I'm imagining some fantastic avacado style tostadas. I don't think I've ever seen avocado tostadas so it's weird that they were the first thing I pictured. Anyway, I walk over to where she pointed and guess what? NO TOSTADAS! No avocado tostadas, no regular tostadas, no anything tostadas!

I was BAMBOOZLED!

Look lady! You know who you are and you know what you did! So FESS UP (in the form of comment or even a myspace message will work).

11:23 pm - I take a nap in what is obviously just a larger closet. For some reason everyone seems to deny the facts and repeatedly keeps refering to it as a small "room". Either way, it's comfortable and I'm left alone.
12:27 am - I wake up and enjoy some of landscaping and more cookies.
